Wax Plant (Hoya curtisii)

An adorable and kind vining plant that won't mind too much if you forget to water it from time to time.

Why are my Hoya’s leaves turning yellow?

The most common reason for yellowing Hoya curtisii leaves is over-watering. These plants thrive on neglect! You should only water them about once a week, ensuring the soil is able to drain. Don’t water it again until the first inch of soil is totally dry.

Tips for Growing Healthy Hoyas

  • Stop watering it! Seriously, just give it a break. It likes to completely dry out between each watering.
  • To help with keeping it dry, try mixing some pumice into the soil.
